4-Step Process
From your first call to celebrating your child's success - here's exactly what happens at each stage.
STEP 1
Free Consultation
I start with a relaxed conversation to understand your concerns and explain our approach.
What Happens:
-
Share your observations and concerns about your child
-
Learn about our neuro-developmental approach
-
Discuss how our services might help your specific situation
-
Get answers to all your questions
-
Decide together if we're a good fit
STEP 2
Comprehensive Assessment
A thorough evaluation of your child's vision, movement, reflexes, and learning foundations.
What Happens:
-
Vision tracking and processing evaluation
-
Primitive reflex integration testing
-
Sensory processing assessment
-
Fine and gross motor skills evaluation
-
Learning readiness screening
STEP 3
Results & Plan
I review findings and create a personalized plan tailored to your child's specific needs.
What Happens:
-
Detailed explanation of assessment results
-
Clear recommendations for next steps
-
Personalized therapy plan with specific goals
-
Timeline expectations and milestones
-
Home activities to support progress
STEP 4
Therapy Sessions
Fun, play-based sessions that feel like games while building crucial learning foundations.
What Happens:
-
Movement-based brain integration activities
-
Vision exercises
-
Reflex integration work through play
-
Progress monitoring and adjustments
-
Regular parent updates and home suggestions
Please note that I am not permitted to engage in the controlled act of communicating a diagnosis. Formal training, coaching by other professionals, and experience enable me to observe and provide insight into the learning needs of a student and recommend next steps. Depending on the data gathered in the process, it is reasonable to expect that next steps may include pursuing further assessment by one or more qualified professionals including, but not limited to, a developmental optometrist, registered psychologist, a speech pathologist, and/or a medical doctor (e.g., audiologist, ophthalmologist, pediatrician).
Foundations For Function

01.
Full development of potential by awakening brain and body connections

02.
Improve the body's ability to handle and regulate stress

03.
An integrated approach that starts at the brainstem level. We can't access higher levels until lower levels of the brain are mature.

04.
Improved sensory functioning and input to the brain for better outcomes.
Program Components
01
Reflex Integration
Reflexes provide the basic mechanisms for later voluntary skills. They are hardwired into the nervous system at birth. If they remain active they will cause structural weaknesses in the central nervous system.
02
Developmental Movements
Move safely and naturally through developmental stages to mature all levels of the brain.
03
Rhythmic Movements
Mature the brain, body and sensory systems. They are associated with bursts of development.
04
Fine Motor Skills and Hand Function Support
The function of the hand indicates the neurology of the body. Enable children to communicate more quickly, efficiently and accurately with their hand.
05
Sensory Processing Support
Improve the quality of input to the brain via the vision, auditory, proprioceptive, vestibular, and tactile senses.
06
SEARCH and TEACH
Identify and develop the 10 foundational perceptive skills needed for reading
07
Tactile Integration
Use neuro tactile stimulation to regulate the body for improved sensory processing, emotional regulation, hormone regulation and reflex integration.
